Before you book: the visit, plan and fees
Begin with your child and family. Share what your child enjoys and the everyday change you hope for. Ask which ability measurement, assessment and professional pathway fits that starting point.
Confirm the visit. Ask for the suitable professional, centre, available time, language and access arrangements before travelling. A callback request is an enquiry; it is not a reserved appointment.
Understand the costs. Ask separately about assessment, any report or review, and continuing therapy. Confirm what the proposed fee includes and the recommended session plan before deciding. An offer shown for one service does not apply automatically to another.

- We listen to family observations, review relevant documents and use formal and informal assessment activities.
- Approximate duration
- About one hour, depending on the child's needs; confirm with the centre.
- Written report
- We confirm when the written report will be ready. Our service guide allows a couple of days; timing is agreed for the appointment.
- Therapy and parent review
- Our service guide describes 40 minutes of therapy plus five minutes of parent review. We confirm the applicable session structure with the centre.
