To day Collab topic:Measures in reduce in reduce to speech errors in autistic kids:

There are a number of measures that can help reduce speech errors in children with autism, including:

Communication training
Teaches basic speech and language skills, such as phrases and single words.
Motor planning and sequencing
Helps children practice the movement patterns needed for speech.
Repetitive practice
Helps children learn to produce sounds and words more consistently and automatically.
Visual and auditory cues
Helps children see and hear their own production, making it easier to make adjustments.
Multi-sensory approaches
Uses touch cues on the face to guide movements, or gestures to support speech sound development.
Within-stimulus prompts
Uses exaggerated presentation of a part of the model to troubleshoot incorrectly articulated sounds.
Extra-stimulus prompts
Uses techniques such as holding the child's jaw slightly open, prompting the tongue position, or touching the cheeks.
Occupational therapy
Helps individuals with autism improve their ability to participate in daily activities and promote self-regulation.
Some children with autism may never develop oral speech and language skills. For these children, the goal may be to learn to communicate using gestures or a symbol system.
