Myasthenia gravis

A weakness and rapid fatigue of muscles under voluntary control.
The condition is caused by antibodies which cause a breakdown in communication between nerves and muscles.
Causes :
Myasthenia gravis is caused by a problem with the signals sent between the nerves and the muscles. It's an autoimmune condition, which means it's the result of the immune system (the body's natural defence against infection) mistakenly attacking a healthy part of the body.
Symptoms :
Muscular: muscle weakness or weakness of the arms and legs
Facial: drooping of upper eyelid or muscle weakness
Also common: difficulty speaking, difficulty swallowing, double vision, fatigue, or shortness of breath.
Treatment:
Treatment consists of steroids and acetylcholinesterase inhibitors
Medication, therapy and surgery can help manage symptoms.
Medications
Blood transfusion, Muscle strengthener and Steroid
Surgery
Thymectomy.
