Symptoms :
Numerous issues with thinking (cognition), behavior, and emotions are associated with schizophrenia. While there are many different signs and symptoms, they typically entail delusions, hallucinations, or disordered speech and indicate a decreased capacity for functioning.
✓Delusions
✓ Hallucinations
✓ Disorganised thinking
✓ Abnormal Motor behaviour
✓ Negative thinking
✓ Lack of motivation

Causes :
It's not known what causes schizophrenia, but researchers believe that a combination of genetics, brain chemistry and environment contributes to development of the disorder.

Prevention:
Although there is no known way to prevent schizophrenia, following the treatment plan can help stop relapses and symptoms from getting worse. Furthermore, by understanding more about the risk factors for schizophrenia, researchers hope to diagnose and treat patients early.
