Bare lymphocyte syndrome
Bare lymphocyte syndrome caused by mutations in the genesof histocompatibility complex or involved with processing and presentation of MCH genes.The genetic basis for BLSII is not due to detects in MCH II genes.The genetic basis a mutation of that normally regulate the expression of MCH II genes.BLS I also called HLA class I deficiency which is associated with TAP1 TAP 2 TAPBP deficiencies.BLS II is an attractive for gene therapy. Bone marrow transplant is the only treatment.
