Everyone has a different learning style, learning disabilities or not. Some individuals learn best by seeing or reading, while others learn best by hearing or doing. Finding out a child's dominant learning style will enable you to assist them.

Which learning style does your child prefer—visual, aural, or kinesthetic? Once you've identified their preferred method of learning, you can take efforts to ensure that it is reinforced both in the classroom and at home. You can identify your child's learning style using the lists below:

An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a collaborative document created by a teacher and parent that typically includes the following: a review of the child's current academic performance, information about the child's disability and how it affects their educational progress, yearly goals, and a plan for evaluating those goals.

The plan that has been laid out will then act as a guide for the child's education in the weeks, months, and even years to come.

How an Autistic Child's IEP Operates
Since building an IEP is a highly individualised procedure, individuals responsible for doing so for a child with autism would likewise adopt a personalised strategy for the plan. The parents of the kid, the child's present teachers, the special needs staff, and perhaps even clinical therapists would need to be heavily involved in the design of this programme.

A learning method that is intrinsically driven, pleasurable, freely chosen, nonliteral, safe, and actively participated in by young learners is referred to as the "play approach." The play-based learning strategy includes having fun, making decisions, and taking responsibility for one's actions.

Several philosophical stances on the role of the therapist, therapeutic objectives, and the use of structuring in play therapy can be found in client-centered, psychoanalytic, release, and structure play therapy approaches. While each approach tries to help children cope with emotional challenges, the methods employed and the play therapy process varies dramatically across each of the theories. The client-centered approach places a strong emphasis on the therapist's facilitative role, which includes the traits of sincerity, unconditional positive regard, and empathetic understanding.
