TOPIC:-Human resources in disability sector- Status of human resources in India

Abstract India is one of the few nations in the world where the human resource development ministry is not responsible for the training of teachers for the education of students with disabilities (Divyangjan). It falls under the purview of the ministry of social justice and empowerment's department for the empowerment of people with disabilities (Divyangjan), whose main objective is rehabilitation rather than teacher development. According to the Census of 2011, there are 268 lakhs people with disabilities in India. majority
significant public health issue is disability, particularly in emerging nations like India. The issue will worsen in the future due to the rising trend of non-communicable diseases and the alteration in the age composition brought on by an increase in life expectancy. With community involvement, rehabilitation efforts should be tailored to the requirements of the disabled because the problems are different in industrialised and developing nations. The bulk of the disabled people in India live in rural areas, where accessibility, availability, and utilisation of rehabilitation services, as well as their cost-effectiveness, are crucial factors to take into account. It is difficult to conduct research on the burden of disability, develop effective intervention techniques, and use those strategies in the current Indian setting. Recent data was gathered and examined from Medline and numerous other sources. The  The Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) offers a standardised method for epidemiological evaluation and makes use of the Disability Adjusted Life Year (DALY) as a standard measure to facilitate worldwide comparison. Years lost to early death and years with a disability (YLD), adjusted for the severity of the disability, are expressed as DALYs. A DALY is a year of healthy life lost. [14] Category I diseases, which include communicable, maternal, and perinatal causes, account for only about one-quarter of the overall disability burden globally, primarily in South Saharan Africa and India. In India, there are more non-communicable disabilities per person or per year of life lived with a disability than in the Developed Market Economies. The distribution of healthcare resources varies as nationsTOPIC:-Human resources in disability sector- Status of human resources in India

TOPIC:- APPROACH OF PLAY

tps
:/The knowledge and practise of integrating a play approach to teaching about healthy eating and encouraging active play in the context of the child, the family, and the school is at the heart of the alternative paradigm for nutrition and fitness education that was proposed on 2/13/2013. A learning method that is intrinsically driven, pleasurable, freely chosen, nonliteral, safe, and actively participated in by young learners is referred to as the "play approach." The play-based approach to learning naturally includes making decisions, taking ownership of one's choices and actions, and having fun. According to this theory, the main factors that ultimately influence healthy decisions and lifestyle choices are internal cognitive transactions and intrinsic motivation. The dynamic systems theory and Jean Piaget's cognitive-developmental theory are two theoretical frameworks for understanding how children learn.

TYPES OF APPROACH PLAY

Unstructured Play Defined: "Children's play scenarios have no predetermined goals. The play's narrative is controlled by the kids.

Similar methods include child-led play and child-initiated play.

Free-form and unrestricted play scenarios are a part of unstructured play. In this type of play, neither the kid nor the teacher have any specific goals in mind. It could be an unstructured play method created to provide kids the most flexibility and control possible in their learning environment.

Children may not feel free to exercise their agency during play if parents or teachers are domineering. Experiences of unstructured play can remedy the shortcomings of adult-led play. They provide kids the chance to experiment, think creatively, and think outside the box.

Similarly, child-led and initiated play encourages kids to take charge of their own learning.TOPIC:- APPROACH OF PLAY

Todays collab topic :panic attack Risk factor  and treatment

panic attack is  feeling of sudden intense anxiety or an episode of intense fear that can actually trigger physical reactions during times where there is no obvious cause or danger.

Children with autism can experience anxiety just as typically development.  Separation anxiety, OCD-like perseverations, social anxiety, and sensory-related anxiety are frequent occurrences in children with autism.

Race of  heart rate feeling short of breath feeling distressed feeling shaky sweating and feeling sick are physical symptoms.

• Mental health conditions: People who have anxiety disorders, depression or other mental health conditions are the risk factors to panic attacks.
• Environmental Factors
• Specific Phobias
• Certain Substances or Medications
• Acute Stress
• seeking lots of reassurance
• avoiding situations and objects (ex: refusing to go to school)
• outbursts and tantrums
• overthinking things and getting stuck
• strong preference for routine and sameness
• repetitive behaviour like rocking, stimming or flapping
• obsessive routines or play
• running away
• self-harm
• Significant Life Changes

Risk factors of panic attacks :-

>> Family history: Anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, often run in families.

>>Relaxation techniques: Meditation has been shown to  reduce anxiety levels, from test-taking anxiety to anxiety in daily life.

>>Social Narratives: Social narratives can be a great way to show children situations before they happen. A social story can be as simple as a story about walking to the cafeteria or going to a grocery store, but the story should model what events will likely occur during the situation. By reading the social story before the event happens, children may feel less anxious about what is going to happen.

How to treat panic attacks or Anxiety:

>>Visual Schedules and Transitions:  Children with anxiety and autism often struggle to transition between activities at school and during daily life. many children can benefit from a visual schedule, which may include a picture of the activity and a time that the activity will occur. These schedules can help children know what to expect and in turn reduce anxiety levels.

>> Safe spaces:  For children who have anxiety, providing a safe space for them when they are feeling anxious or overwhelmed can be helpful. If a child is experiencing extreme anxiety we may create a safe space that can include beanbags, calming games such as some puzzles, stress balls, or relaxing music.

>>Pinpoint what triggers anxiety: Identifying what causes of the anxiety can be helpful in identifying ways to help kids. Parents and teachers may encourage the child to engage in fearful situations that are anxiety provoking and praise or reward the child when they doTodays collab topic :panic attack Risk factor  and treatment
